I trust my boyfriend with all my heart. He had a problem in the past with talking to other girls online. He has not talked to them for 1 year now because he moved in with me. If he gave me his email password am I wrong for going into his inbox just to see if anybody has tried getting ahold of him?

he also had an account on a porn site and lied to me about having one. Was it wrong of me to check his email to find the account info?

YES! because you completely contradicted yourself.
If you "trust him with all your heart" why the hell are you being nosy?
Very wrong, not good. OK you found his porn thing. Happy now? Now you get to tell him you were being nosy and you found it, so y'all can fight about it. I didn't even check my husbands email and all that, even when i suspected it. I straight up asked. If you have suspicions, bail out. Its not worth it if you cant trust your partner.
Sorry if I seem harsh, but we all know, truth hurts.

Yes you were wrong. It just shows that you don't trust him. If you did trust him you wouldn't feel like you have to check on him. Also, even if any of those girls contacted him, it doesn't mean he is having anything to do with them.

1) THAT WOULD BE CALLED SNOOPING!!!
- There is nothing wrong with a little snoopin however, you may not like what you find... And just what do you do about it then???
2) You can't stop others from e-mailing him... you can only judge him by HIS ACTIONS....
- been there done that.. Didn't like what I found.. made them major issues... to me they were.. On the other hand, it may not have hurt me if I never knew..
- tough choice... curiosity killed the cat, ya know...

just because he gave you his password doesnt mean you have the right to check his mail!!! how would you like it if he just got into your e-mail and started reading anything and everything? you probably talk to guys online!! i mean come on those girls could have been his friends. you say you trust him but i dont think you do.

Either you trust him or you don't. If you trusted him with "all (your) heart", why would you feel the need to invade his privacy? What do you need from him for you to be able to trust him? If there is nothing more he or you can do to build that trust, then you might start to consider moving on with your life.

well, then you dont trust him with all your heart.
but who could blame you if he's had a problem in the past.
what are you gonna do if you find something there?
you'll confront him and then he'll accuse you of not trusting him and being a snoop and you'll accuse him of lying to you and then what?
do what you think you need to do.

NO you don't trust your bf or you would not be checking his email. But then you accepted this shacking up relationship so what does it matter?? Neither of you has made a commitment.

Are you trying to find something? If you're not prepared for what you might find, I don't recommend looking. Obviously if he gave you his password, then there's nothing to hide. Doesn't mean he doesn't have an alternate e-mail address and is trying to be more careful.

So very wrong, on many levels. We know you'll do it anyway........

Do not fret though, there are a lot of psychos out there, besides yourself, going thru their man's PRIVATE stuff!!!

It's the guy's fault for not better protecting his things.........dumb@sses!!!

Merry Christmas
