I did a photo shoot on the beach in France with my family. The photographer says i'm 'photogenic' What does this exactly mean?

It means that you take good pictures. Like, no matter what you do, or wear or time of day, you always take good pictures. You always look good in a picture no matter what. That's photogenic.

It could mean oneof two things;
1) The photographer was flattering you for an alterior motive- i.e.- flirting
2) Your photogenic qualities include a smooth complexion, good teeth and bone structure in your face as well as very balanced features- eyes evenly spaced and an even nose and lips often register as more beautiful than somewhat unbalanced features.

Some people, Like me, automatically go into stupid look mode as soon as the camera is brought out. I am not photogenic. Others look natural or even better through the camera's lens. They ARE photogenic. You are one of the lucky ones.

That you take good photos. Being photogenic is how well you pose and look in pictures.

He was probably just being nice. But it means that you are easy to photograph, that you "give" good pictures. you make the right expressions, are natural. The photographer doesn't have to give you many instructions, you just do the right look, the right poses.

Pictures taken of you always turn out well. Some people no matter how cute they are get pictures taken that look like their drivers license photo every time!

It means that the camera 'loves' you, that you look really good on your photos. Cause there are some ppl no mater how beautifull/ handsome they are in live, on their pictures they just dont look so beautifull/handsome
