Some Pagans celebrate it on the 21st of December, some celebrate it on the day the calendar says it's Winter Solstice.

When do you celebrate it, if you do?

I'm celebrating it today, for those who may be curious.

Merry Yule, Pagans and not!

Have a happy, productive winter season!

It's the evening (night) of 21st and then the whole 22nd.

On 21st, I cleaned the place and baked a Yule cake, then I lit a fire. The fire must be lit throughout the night, to help the new sun be reborn. On the solstice day (today), the cake is eaten and the house is decorated by evergreen branches and holly berries.

Blessed Yule to you!

Blessed Yule to you as well!

Tonight my husband and I will cast a circle and meditate when I get home from work. He is also making a big meal for us since he doesn't have to be at work today. We also spent the week thoroughly cleaning our home. Tonight is designated as religious celebration and observance.

Tomorrow we will open up gifts and eat another big meal, so our celebrating the new sun will take two days! It will be a day for fun.

I'm celebrating it both today and tomorrow. I actually really like having a holiday that can technically span two days if the Solstice doesn't actually land on the calendar date of Yule.

Blessed Yule to you as well!

We'll be celebrating tonight, as our days begin at night, so it's sort of a today/tomorrow thing.

Merry Yule and blessings on your path!
