pau: Your posting is like asking are apples and oranges of the same or similar family. It's the same God but with different contracts or Covenants with each group. The Jewish people were under the Old Covenant [contract]; whereas, the Christians are under the New Covenant [contract] agreement. Old is about "do's and don'ts" [physical]; whereas, the New is about RELATIONSHIP [spiritual] ! A hugh difference. The good news is that we ALL - every human ever, born will be SAVED and involved in a relationship with God [Jesus Christ] in their particular turn and time, as God draws him or / and her to Him. This is a GREAT question, "pau" !!!

The Christian God is defined as the Trinity - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Jews reject the idea of the Trinity. According to Christians the Jews only see one side of God. So the Jewish concept of God is different from the Christian concept.

Yes. Christian's believe in the Jewish God. The main difference is that the Jewish people believe that the Messiah is still prophesied to come where as Christians believe that he has already come and has died and we are now waiting for his 2nd coming.
I read what a few other people wrote and they are also correct...Christians believe in the holy trinity where as Jews believe only in God-The Great I Am. My mistake in not writing that.

Jews dont believe in Jesus as the son of god. They are still waiting for there messiah. But christians dot pray to the same gotd as jews, christians pray to the son of god jesus so its kinda a trick question. Yes the god Jews believe in, the christians also believe existed but Christians don't pray to that god they prey to his son Jesus who died for all the sins of man.

The God of the OT and the 'Father' of the Christian God-head is one and the same. The other two personages of the Christian God-head is problematic.

yes, except if you get into the whole trinity retcon crap where they try to make an excuse for worshipping jesus and preying to him as not violating the first commandment.
Basically for real christians and real jews the only difference is that jesus was the messiah in christian mythology, and in jewish mythology he was not and the messiah has not come.

Quite simply 'Yes'. Jesus was a Jew and whilst Christians believe that Jesus was God made man, the Jews do not..........
Incidentally, Muslims also believe in the same God but believe Jesus was a Prophet.........

Pretty much. It's the same in Islam. Most of the fighting comes from arguing over messiahs and prophets.
