Well, after ten dates I think there should definitely be some sort of serious relationship forming. Any more than that would be wasting time. It could happen sooner too, if both parties wish it to be that way. No sooner than the third date, preferably. Good luck!

people who are casually dating usually DO NOT commit for an exclusive relationship

duh otherwise what is the purpose of casually dating

I don't think you can put a time limit on it. Personally, I have never been able to date more than one guy at once. I figure if I like a guy enough to spend time with him, I don't need another guy as a back up. I will not have sex until we are exclusive, so that is my limit.

If you are ready to do that then you should ask her and tell her how you feel about her. There's no timeline on when you should commit. Both people just need to feel the same way

I say no limit. My mom and dad dated for 2 wks, and been happily married for 40 years, it depends if both of you are mature enough to handle the responsibilities of marriage.

well, I'd say at least give it a few dates, to make sure they both want exclusivity.....

2 weeks to a month. Have sex before committing. That way if it sucks, the break-up isn't too bad because you were not involved any ways.

all depends on the people. there is no blueprint for dating, it is supose to be emotions.
