Ok, he says that he doesn't want me to be friends with females because he knows how they are.. But says he only wants me to be friends with guys?

He's a little weird but he knows how girls are meaning he thinks all girls are sluts and you'll get with the girls and start flirting or sleeping with guys. He obviously had a bad experience with some girl. Ask him about it. I say he's a little weird because most boyfriends wouldn't want you to be friends with other guys. He seems mixed up. On one hand he trust you with guys and on the other he doesn't trust you with girls.

I have never heard that one before, usually what guys don't want you to do is talk w/ other guys, cause they are insecure. But he sounds very controlling, and you need to get out of this relationship. No one can tell you who you can talk to and who you can't, unless, it's for your own good, and this is not for your own good. And like a person had answered, he probably doesn't want your girlfriends to notice the way he is cause they always tell you the truth and good advice, and men, well, must believe they will just keep theirs mouth shut. But don't hesitate, get out of the relationship.

He's a little confused.
He thinks that by you being friends with guys that you won't be easily influenced because you already have a man (him)
But he must be seeing girls a negative influence on you. He think they will fill your head up with negative things about a guy or himself.
Is this guy and attractive looking guy? Does he show you other signs of insecurity?

Control freak here--Red Flags ---there is power in numbers--and girls we know all about the numbers don't we---and so does he--tell him if you had to just Be around a bunch of hairy legged guys all the time you would scream--all they would want is for you to cook and pick up after them while they watch sports--No way it ain't going to happen--don't you even give up your friends--or ask him to give up all of his--at least even the odds and that's ONE on ONE--fair is fair---

I would think he would want the opposite. I would tell him, what girls do, guys can do the same. he may have his own reasons, and you should respect that too, but he should respect all of your freinds just like you do the same. Other than that, I would keep all of your freinds, and he has to undrestand that you will take care of the problem when one occurs. god Bless, I hope this helped you!

Sounds pretty screwed up to me. You tell him you will be friends with who ever you want and if he has a problem with that he can hit the road. Life is too short to let someone run your life and try to tell you what to do.

Guys need guy friends, that's for sure! But no one can know "how girls are" because all girls are different. Sounds like he's being pretty closed to other people.
If he wants to shut people out, so be it. But he'll be more shallow because of it. (Maybe he needs to meet women who don't fit his pre-set ideas...)

Wow... it means that he is kind of a weirdo!
That makes no sense at all... maybe he has a dark past and he doesn't want you too hear it from the girls who know about it.
Either way, NO ONE should ever tell you who you can and can not hang out... just tell him that it's your choice not his, and that he can just accept it, or leave!

He is testing you to see if he can control you or not. Be careful he might be abusive. He knows that you confide in your girlfriends and maybe afraid you'll tell them things and possibly leave him.

RED FLAG...He's insecure. Who is he to tell you who you can and can't be friends with. Dump him now this is only a sign of things to come.
