I love her so much and I am just worried about her. She is 5' 7", a medium frame and is 122 lbs. She was 133 and got up to 138 when we first staring dating two years ago. She has a sister that has an eating disorder.

There are several things you should do:

1. Talk to her about it, or her parents or close friends if she will not listen.

2. Read up on eating disorders, and provide the information for her to read. 5 foot 7 and 122 pounds isn't THAT outrageous, so she may not even have a disorder. It could be lots of things besides that. But if it IS a disorder, you both need to make sure you have the right information.

3. Encourage her to go to the doctor. They would know more about it, and you may be able to convince her to be "safer than sorry." It won't hurt her to go, just in case.

4. Be understanding and supportive and do not panic. Also, try not to take TOO much responsibility for it. You want to help, not push her away. Besides that, in the end only SHE can help herself. You can't do it for her. Being supportive and providing her with the information and encouragement she needs will help her make the right decision for herself.

Read here for more on eating disorders. I expect she's going to deny there's a problem. It's a very difficult problem to treat. Let her know how concerned you are and if she'll accept it, go to a doctor or clinic with her.

if she has a eating disorder then you will probably notice eventual, but try to trust her until you definitely know, i lost a stone in a week and it terrified my boyfriend and me i still don't know what it was but it could be anything I'd also consider she might have diabetes, if she also goes to the toilet a lot, is tired all the time then it could be that.

you might want to talk to her, if you don't get anywhere, speak to her parents about this problem. Eating disorders are a serious problem and can even lead to death.

how old is she? That also makes a difference. Check her BMI and see if it fails in the "safe" area.

If she isn't ready to admit it to you, she isn't ready to get better. If you force someone who isn't ready, it will only start a viscious cycle...
