The best thing to do is call the pharmacy where she gave the original prescription and explain the situation. In emergencies, the pharmacy can usually arrange to transfer the prescription to another local pharmacy (this is easier if its a big drugstore chain). Otherwise, you can probably FedEx it with no problem. If you are sending it overseas, wrap it or pack it in something else and don't write on the description that it is drugs.

The post office has what they call express mail if they don't have overnight mail. You are looking at about $15 to send it.
More likely though, she can call her doctor, explain the problem and her doctor can call in a prescription to any pharmacy in the nation - at least enough to see her through the holiday and trip back home. That way you don't have to worry about things like her meds getting lost in the mail.
