Jewelry for an ex-girlfriend is over the line.
Living together is a bad idea... why buy the cow if you get the milk for free?
He's feeling like having some cake and eating it too.

That'll be the day i let my bf give his Ex anything, any time of the year!! I'd be arguing with him and kicking him out!
ASk him if it's okay if you can talk to ur ex all the time and give him presents see what he says! I'm sure if it was the other way around he would be pissed at you!
I think he still cares about her, you should get rid of him there's so much more fish in the sea..if he loved you he would forget about his ex..I know my bf would be mad if i gave my ex anything just like me...it's just not right!! Anyone who says other wise, is missing a few brain cells.

You are definitely NOT doing the right thing by not saying anything, because this bothers you. I am not saying that they have something going on, because it's very possible that they are just friends. But at the same time, they very well COULD have something going on...you don't know. You can only either trust what he tells you, or assume. And for him to by her something as personal as jewelery it does raise suspicion. Hell, what's he getting you? Anyway, express how you feel ... if you decide to wait until after the holidays .. fine.. but don't ignore the problem because it won't go away. Problems are never solved by ignoring them, only by working them out.

I would be pissed if my boyfriend gave his ex-girlfriend anything for Christmas. But jewelry especially. That is an intimate gift. I would be angry. You have the right to be angry. If you want to hold it all inside that's not going to do you any good. Don't blow up in his face, just have a talk about how that makes you uncomfortable. He should understand. If he gets defensive, then yes, I would be concerned that him and his ex may be more than just friends.

I think that its only ok if you are ok with it. If you are upset you should talk about it, don't keep it in afraid it might cause a fight, that's not good for YOU. If they are just friends and you dislike their friendship, if it is just jealousy, then you should be careful. Jealousy can change your perceptions.....It's a very bad emotion to hold on to. Your BF has a right to his own life (he does only have one) and he should be able to make all decisions on his own, so he should take your opinion into consideration, but how can he if you don't share what you are thinking? This is how relationships mature.....or end!
Just remember, you are the only one who has to live with you forever, so be true to you.

What are you a doormat?? Lets get real here--YOU NEED TO ASK HIM THIS____ How would he feel if the shoe were on the other foot?? You were talking to your ex and buying him gifts and receiving gifts--How would that make him feel?? If he says it fine with him --Sister you are not with the right man---You need to make a stand TODAY --cause an argument my foot--smack down on this and make it stop--What makes him so special that he is allowed to have cake and eat it too?? Dont be a fool--

I would ask if he still has feelings for her. I would tell him that it makes you a little uncomfortable that they talk all the time. If he jumps to conclusion and start acting all offensive, somethings probably going on. When you start talking to him never yell don't change your voice and tell him you are not trying to argue just want to have a civilized conversation about something. Remember he's with you not her. You two live together

i know how it feels =)
try to confront him after x-mas and avoid arguements for the sake of the holidays =)
Well i had almost the same problem where my boyfriend's best friend had a gf and wanted my boyfriend to date her close friend...
and i didnt give in
I went all the way out to talk to my boyfriend's friend and tell him not to bug my bf =)
So i guess u should be jealous or maybe a lil upset
I do get upset when my boyfriend's ex sends him e-mails =(
And he knows that im upset and at the end he makes it up to me =)
Good Luck

Dont wait till the holidays, thats your man and you need to get this off your chest. Just ask him nicely whats going on between the two of you in a jokingly manner and see if he responds. Yeah, its normal to be mad about that because it seems his friendship with her is to friendly. Plus, you live with him, and that could cause problems if you dont speak up. Speak up to him or he'll think everything is fine.

well i don,t think that he should be giving her jewelery as a gift cause jewelery is a gift that means more.my mother and father have been seperated for years and they always give each other a gift and they never give jewelery and my dad always said you don,t give that as a gift unless there is something there.look as a female i wouldn,t sit there and let my man be doing that cause its disrespectful to me and it would be to him if i was doing that stuff instead.look just sit your boyfriend down and tell him how it makes you feel he is doing that stuff and if he loves you then you both can come to an arrangement of some kind.good luck on this matter and don,t let it keep happening cause it could lead to them back together.
