The same laws applied then as they do now. The law hasn't changed, it is the "traditions of men" that have attempted to redefine certain laws of God. The changes that have taken place with the English language have changed nothing. A Christian has been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not of ourselves, lest we boast. This is how it has always been and how it will always be.
read Ephesians 2

Looks like something you need to explain. Who or what is the ch.of eng.? And what are the new rules?
Christians need to believe that christianity hasn't changed because it's a constant in their life, something to hold on to and gives them meaning. Just like we need to believe that we'll wakeup in the same place as we went to sleep, or that our friends and family will always be there.

Any Christian that thinks that Christianity hasn't changed is ignorant of the history of their church. Christianity used to be a sect of the Jews! And as it has been around for 2,000 years, I can guarantee that there have been some changes - that is why there are so many different denominations of Christian churches.

The teaching of christ in faith and morals has not changed in the catholic church for 2000 yrs. What has changed are the people
who left and go to 40,000 different other churches to suit themselves.
