No, they will chase you for ever if you decide to drop the subscription and you can get most of the information from the web.

I wouldn't subscribe. I signed up for a month when I was researching cars to buy. It was great, very helpful, but I dropped it after I bought the new car! It's true about being chased by them to renew though. Be tough, say "No". But I definitely would sign up again when I need advice on a big ticket purchase like an appliance or car.

It depends what you'll be shopping for. If it's anything tech related, don't sign up. You can get plenty of free information from the CNET website. Nooooo....I don't work for CNet.
