I know this is tough. I have a daughter just about your age, and I've remarried a new woman. For several years, my daughter has really hated this person. My new wife is different from my Ex-wife. Her rules are different, her punishments are different. Which is probably why I married her to be quite honest. Not that I still don't care and respect my Ex-wife, she will always be an important part of mine and my kids life.

So here's the RUB. Your Dad married her for some reason. The most logical reason is he loves her. Its up to you to find ways to make your situation better. Turning off, and getting up set is only making your situation worse. "Use your words.." Talk to both your Dad and your Step Mom. Try not to use words like "She's Evil, I hate her, she treats her kids better." Try using words that says hey I'm apart of this house I have rights as a member of this family. Ask them, "What's the deal with the computer.?" (say it sweet) "Dad, I thought we talked about me being able to use the computer. Is that not the case..?" He may say its NOT okay.. You need to be prepared for this. Astonish them.. don't get upset. Tell them it's important to you to use the computer. So how can we make this happen. Then listen. Let them talk, I bet both of your parents will want to make you happy, and they will find away for you to get what you need.

I know this was a long answer, but I hope it helps. Just remember to talk.. have a conversation, and more importantly, listen. That's why you were made with two ears and only one month. Somebody up there knew you would need more ears than mouths. :-) Take care.. it does get better.

It doesn't seem fair -- the way you described it.

Do you have the option of living with your mom? Do it, if possible.

Otherwise, it's time to get friendly with Lynett. She has a lot of authority in your life and she can either make you miserable or happy. Explain to her how you feel. Try to talk with her.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to bring your dad into it, but Lynett won't be happy that you do. Try working with her first........

A threat is child abuse. Start by telling your dad. If that doesn't work, tell your mom and refuse to go over there. At 10 you can get it to court if someone doesn't take you seriously.

You need to tell your dad how you feel, and how she treats you. Holding it in will only makes matters worse, and plus your dad needs to be aware of how his girlfriend/wife is treating HIS child. Put it out there in the open. If you can't tell your dad, tell someone adult who will tell him for you.

tell your dad or biological mother. If she threatens to hit you, it might get serious, real fast. Talk to someone you can trust to get you out of the situation. If she threatens more, or if its worse, call your mom or talk to your dad

Have you told your dad about this? Better yet, tell your real mom. I'm sure it will cause some trouble.

Sorry you are having trouble.. Have you talked to your dad about it? Sometimes they may not know what's going on.
