It really depends on what the options are around you. Some cities have some excellent private preschools that may be worth looking into. However, it may not be worth it to invest in private school at such an early age with the decent public education system in Canada. You may want to save for private school in the later years as preparation for university. If money isn't an issue, I would investigate a number of programs and decide based on the quality of the program alone, rather than on the fact that a school is public or private. Check out the teachers in action in the classrooms - is the classroom atmosphere warm and welcoming? Are the children happy? Also look at the resources and other special programs used - do they focus on literacy? Art? Which approach works best for your child? Be sure to ask about the teacher turn-over rate - private schools often pay less than public schools and have a high turnover as a result. You can also ask other parents at the school what they think of the program. Be sure to take your child to see the schools, as well.
Good luck!

I would put her in public school, it will give her more of a real-life experience. she will interact with people of other backgrounds. Just make sure that the curriculums of the schools are good. if the private school has a great curriculum and the public school has a bad one, then private school would probably be better

do no longer difficulty approximately her being in a different place than her friends developmentally. At her age, all and sundry is in a different. If she ahs had lots of person interest, she would thrive in a different section than a baby who has been around his friends his shole existence. additionally infants capture up somewhat speedy at this age, and as quickly as she will become attentive to any "alterations" between herself and her frineds, she will learn in spite of the fact that she needs to learn. i'm specific she has areas of power the place the different childrens are lacking. while you're worried approximately her social qualifications, spend some beyond customary time along with her on playdates and consistent with danger hire a babysitter to observe her and a pal or 2 so she sees what that's % to be with acquaintances once you're no longer around. If the preschool is a sturdy one, she would desire to have not any concern adjusting. have relaxing along with her and enjoy doing the flaws you will no longer have the flexibility to locate the time for as quickly as your new schedules initiate.

I would sugguest to you to go to the schools you are contemplating and ask to see the curriculum. They should be able to show you, also they may let you sit in on the classes. That should help you to decide which way to go. Good Luck!
