Is it possible to transfer scholarship?

I have a friend that won a math competition and got a full scholarship to a university. However, he didn't use it, and ended up going to another school. Would it be possible for it to be transferred to me? Like, could I buy it from him or something?

No, scholarships cannot be transferred between people. They may be able to transfer between schools, but not people.

Your friend should have taken advantage of it. NOthing like a free eduction. :-)
