i never had this problem before. im 22 now and i started drinking when i was still in high school. i consider myself a heavy drinker back then even though i have the "asian flush" allergy. however, the past 2 months i noticed that i have had a problems drinking alcohol. not that im getting drunk from the alcohol but it seems that my body keeps rejecting the alcohol. i threw up twice (separate party) from drinking even small amounts even though i was far from being drunk. i don't usually throw up even if im completely drunk. right now even though im drinking real light right now, i get nauseus but from getting drunk. i really don't understand it. i know the obvious answer would be to stop drinking, but with all the parties and having a rep as a heavy drinker, none of my friends want me to stop drinking. if any one knows the answer to my problem, please enlighten me! thanks

I don't blame you for not wanting to ask a doctor. The doctor will tell you to stop drinking even if you are NOT having a problem with alcohol. If you admit to a doctor that you like alcohol even the least little bit, he or she will keep after you to give it up completely until you just want to bring your gun to the next office visit, and... erm... never mind.
Anyway, every time I've known someone with the set of problems you are describing above, that person was starting to come down with gallbladder disease. You are not old enough to have severe liver damage just from drinking though-- since I don't know you-- you could have it from other things, or you could have been born that way.
My guess is gallbladder disease, which can be cause by a number of different things, but drinking a lot of alcohol will always aggravate it.
Here's a simple way to tell if this is the problem with you or not: For every alcoholic drink you take, drink a glass of water before you drink another alcoholic drink. Yes, you will have to pee a lot. That's better than vomiting, isn't it?
If this causes the problem to diminish or stop completely, then you know you have a weak gallbladder and you should treat it with care if you want to continue drinking. Always drink water or juice when you are drinking alcohol. Even though I don't have gallbladder or liver disease, I always order a glass of water with my drinks at a bar. It's just a good habit to have.
If this does NOT help your problem at all, then something else is wrong. I have also known people who developed allergic reactions to alcohol, sadly enough. If drinking water with your drinks doesn't help, then unfortunately you MAY have to seek medical advice.
Good luck! I hope this was helpful.

that's the outcome of too a lot quantity causing your body to suddenly reject it. that's not that this one remoted prevalence is particular yet your body really determined that it replaced into sick of you ingesting a lot and could not aid you anymore. the very similar element befell to me with Tabasco sauce (definite that's not basically restricted to alcohol!). I used to have most of the stuff and that i downed a pint of it about a three hundred and sixty 5 days in the past and now my body basically wont' enable me contact the stuff. i will throw up if I have even a drop of it. i'm so sorry about your lack of alcohol ingesting ability. As an alcoholic, i extremely experience sorry for you.

You should consider yourself lucky. Your body is already way ahead of you, telling you to stop drinking because it's just not good for you. You may or may not have liver, gallbladder or some sort of disease. But my advise is to quit while you're ahead.
I used to drink heavily too, until my body started rejecting alcohol. Out of nowhere, I started having nausea, allergies, palpitations, severe headaches or whatnot whenever I drank alcohol. I stopped drinking and my body loved and thanked me for it. No regrets.
Oh, and if you're getting a bad vibe from your friends just because you can't keep the booze down, maybe you should be more concerned about finding truer friends than how to force yourself into heavy drinking again.

You are building up a tolerance to alcohol, and you have to drink more to get the same buzz. Ease off or quit for awhile and the symtoms should abate. You sound like a camdidate for full blown alcoholism, best to quit now before you end up a hopeless drunk.

I started felling like I was going to die after a while from drinking one beer.
You are fortunate, because alcoholism is an unworthy plague. A tool of misery and death.
It may sound lame to you but I think death and misery are lame so I guess we're even.

See a doctor for their opinion. It sounds like you got liver damage. Stop drinking until you hear from a doc.

What about going to the doctor instead of asking this questions here. Would you trust your life to unknown people?
