Red flags: those little comments made by the other person signaling that something is not quite right. They also include certain characteristics and behaviors that can be a sure tip off that there are issues worth further consideration before pursuing any kind of a relationship.

Well, normally the red flags are seen even before the actual relationship begins. I check him constantly during the courting stages. If he is anything less than gentle, caring and understanding, I run. The biggest red flag is a guy that tries to go too far with me too soon, and I hate to be strong-armed ion the process. I also think becoming to dependent too soon calls for a "see ya later" conversation. It tells me right away that he will be demanding and overly jealous.

Hope this helps!

Your partner is unwilling to compromise, they're overly jealous, they're argumentative, they nit-pick and look for things to complain about...it's really up to you. Whatever your partner does that you know you cannot live with is a red flag.

If....
he's rude to waitresses or sales clerks
he belches and farts and laughs about it
he is late or doesn't do what he says he'll do
he makes no effort to get to know my friend and family
he flirts with other girls in front of me
he calls me names--even if he's joking

That Gut Feeling

Feeling a need to be someone you're not to be accepted by anyone.

your instincts.

if that isn't enough for you, then if you can't trust them, its not going to work. trust is hard to build, and especially if you have a reason not to trust them, that'll be hard to get over.

also, if youre constantly arguing about things, its only going to get worse (and i know that from experience).
