Depends. If you're dating, you can either break up or stay together. If you're married, being "IN" love wasn't part of your vows.

It is time to end the relationship before it gets out of hand..... No need in leading a person on to believe everything is alright.... Tell this person that you love them but just not in love with them... and tell them the reasons may help with the blow.... It is going to be hard but needs to be done because you don't need to be with someone you are not in love with when you could be and the other person don;t need to be deceived and lied to when they could be in a relationship with the same feelings..... Just be honest with him/her about the way you feel and leave it at that

That's a hard situation to figure out, and many people experience this. All I can say is you have to do what's right for you. If you're not in love anymore, you have two choices:
1) Put effort into falling in love again and try to patch things up, OR
2) Leave the relationship and find someone new.

That is when you ask yourself what it is about the person that you "love," this will tell you if you have true love or not. "In love" is a fallacy; a feeling and feelings come and go. Sometimes I love to eat chocolate and sometimes I don't. True love is much deeper than that. If your discovery leads you to realize that you don't have true love for this person, enough to stay with them. Tell them, release them, and let them find someone who does.

Being "in love" is awesome. But this part of relationships does not last. The "in love" part evolves into a deeper love...the kind that lasts. I think you can have that "in love" feeling come and go in your relationship...the most important thing is to keep your relationship going by doing things for your partner - surprise them with dinner or ...... you fill in the blanks...whatever your likes/tastes are.

You mean when you don't think they love you back?
You get out. It's not healthy to be in a one sided relationship. You deserve to be with someone who cares about you lots.
Or do you mean, you love them like your best friend, but you are not "in love" with them romantically?
Same answer. Whoever you are with deserves to be with someone who appreciates her/him for everything that she/he is, and if you can't do that then you need to tell her/him how you feel and both of you need to move on.
Best of luck!

let them know how you feel. this is exactly how i was with my ex, and we're best friends. i love him to , but couldn't imagine being with him again.
if they're upset about it, give them time and see how things work out. don't take it personally if they don't wanna be friends right away, because even though you're not in love with them doesn't mean that they're not still in love with you.

You realize that you are grown up now and mature love means loving them without always having to feel that magical "in love" feeling. It comes and goes.
