Jesus would have spoken Aramaic most often (but he also spoke and read Greek and Hebrew according to the Bible). In Aramaic, his name would have been pronounced like "yeshua" (origin of the English name Joshua).

Jesus Christ is from Iasoos Charistos (Gk). Translated from Yeshua Messiah (Hbrw). Messiah means anointed in Hebrew and Charistos means anointed in Greek. Charisma is from the Greek for Christ. So a Charismatic Christian is an anointed Christian. A Messianic Jew is an anointed Jew.

We do not know how he was called then. But we accepted his name now as Jesus.

Why not then use God's personal name?
