i went to the doctors on monday with an ear infection that i have hade for 5 weeks ive bin two times before monday and ive had everything tablets ear drops and more tablets none of it seems to be mving my ear infection please someone help me what should i do my doctors closes after tamoz for crmbo holiday and doesnt open againtill the 27th i am getting like a ringing noise in my ear is this normall please help

Ears can be very difficult to treat. If after 5 weeks the infection hasn't cleared up, you need to see an ENT (ears, nose, throat) doctor. Call them right now. You probably won't be able to get in soon enough, so in the mean time, try taking a decongestant. That might clear up some of the congestion. Also, take ibuprofin for the pain. When you call the ENT make sure you let them know that you have had this for 5 weeks, have been treated and you are in a lot of pain. They may be able to squeeze you in sooner if they know that. Try Sweet Oil on your ear,you can find it at the local dollar store
