I don't believe in tooth paste making any difference, but if you have bad breath it helps very much to gargle with salt water. It really works. You can also gargle with a solution like listerine or something from a pharmacy, but I would not suggest that for long-term use (more than 10 - 15 days), as it can have (mild) side-effects like loss of taste or numbness in the mouth. So I would suggest that you use the solution in special occasions and gargle every day (or 2-3 times in a day) with salt water, which is harmless and very effective. You can also chew parlsey.
