They reallly don't know when he was born or what day he was born. He was likely born 4-6 BC.

Jesus is older than 2006 years, He said before Abraham was, I Am! John 1:1-3 says, He was in the beginning with God, and He created everything. He was not born in the year 00. First there is no year 00. The year 1 BC is also 1 AD. His birth or incarnation as a human being was wrongly calculated as year 1 AD before, but history proved that it was impossible since Herod the Great died in year in February 4 BC. So Jesus must have been born earlier, most probably in September 3 BC.
Isaiah 9:6,7
6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will beno end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

As I understand it, when Jesus turned one, that is considered 1 AD. However, when the whole AD/BC thing was invented, the number zero didn't exist, so there wasn't a number to say He was born in the year 0 but they would say He was born in the year 1 BC. It's like there wasn't a year 0, and even if there was who's to say if it would be 0 BC, or 0 AD.
In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter what year He was born in. He was born. When we celebrate our birthdays, we sort of have it backwards. For example, I am 34. My last birthday was when I celebrated COMPLETING my 34th year of life, the 34th anniversary of my birth. I did not begin my 34th year of living. I am now 34 years, X months, and Y days old.
So we are celebrating Christ's 2006th birthday. And if He had completed His first year of living on the planet Earth in 1 AD, then He would have completed His 2006th year this year. Therefore, whenever Christ's REAL birthday is (most agree He was not born on December 25th) He will have turned 2007.

Yes, Well actually, it turned it out the calendar guy... can't remember his name off hand, miscalculated his birth by five years. so he was actually born 5 BC. Funny huh? The calculations were done several years after Christ walked the earth. Have a lovely and very Merry Christmas!

nope - was born 4 BC to 6 BC because the guy that zero dated made mistakes - I believe it was 4 BC
e.g. How Many Years was Bill Clinton President?
You say eight - wrong - Bill was President for 9 years
took office Jan 20, 1993 and left office Jan 20, 2001
thats 1.1993
2.1994
3.1995
4.1996
5.1997
6.1998
7.1999
8.2000
9.2001
a partial year is counted as a full year - see how mistakes could be made

According to the Jewish/Hebrew Calender..the year is 5767 (I think) so since Jesus was Hebrew, he would have gone by that calendar I would think. 2006 is a part of the Georgian Calender.

There was no ZERO year; it went straight from what we call 1 B.C. to 1 A.D.
Furthermore, we have no idea how old he actually is; he could have been created billions of years before appearing as a human being.

There was not any year "0".
And the precise date of His birth is unknown.
The truth is that God did become Incarnate in Jesus.
