It embarrasses me so much, I never go to the beach. Someone recommended dermablend, but it only covers it up temporarily, any cosmetic to clear it permanently without side effects?

WELL I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE SCARS ON MY LEGS FROM FALLING, PLAYING RUFF ECT. I WAS A TOMBOY. IF U USE COCOA BUTTER LOTION OR BETTER YET CREAM IT WILL HELP CLEAR IT UP A LITTLE. IT ALSO HELPS WITH STRETCH MARKS. BUT SCARS FROM CHILDHOOD ARE HARD TO GET RID OFF. IM 24 AND STILL HAVE SOME. SOME WILL GO AWAY SOME WONT. ESPECIALLY IF THERE DEEP SCARS. BUT DONT BE EMBARRASSED. I USE TO MODEL AND I HAVE LONG LEGS AND I USED THE COCOA BUTTER AND SOME MAKE-UP. THE BUTTER HELPS. BUT OTHER THAN THAT ALL I CAN THINK OF IS SURGERY.BUT THATSTHE LAST CHOICE.

I tend not to recommend this method given the nature of the healing properties of this substance. do not try this to open cuts,or scars that are less than 12 months old. usually helps considerably on small scars.
the healing properties of untouched soil is remarkable as it is profound. Find soil in a forest. dark soil, find it by brushing aside all leaves and larger matter. sift it, mix water but not alot. you will want to mold /or fashion it the demensions of the scar. Appy mud to scar, wrap with cheesecloth, allow mud to dry, making a new wrap every 24 hrs or when mud is dry, remove old mud,but DO NOT wash off the residual layer of mud that is retained in scar.you may damp wash around scar. by doing this a new layer of residual will be retained after each application. that is the basics of that problem.

I would use a lotion called Mederma. I have been using it a lot to clear up surgery scars. I also know it is number one doctor recomended. I can tell you that is over the counter so no persciption is needed. The scars from surgery go away good. You can purchase it at places like Walmart and K-mart.

It's apart of your character why would you want to change that? Bad memories?
My niece was born with her intestines out side of her stomach, and she has a scar from the bottom of her rib cage to her pelvic bone. She wears a 2 piece suit at the beach. You shouldn't feel ashamed at all.................

Don't worry about it. If people want to make fun of you then let them. God put the scars on you for a reason not to make you embarassed. You shoudn't care what others think.
