You can try yoga accompanied by pranayama as well. You need to regulate your diet along with it - eat simple food, less fried stuff - i know it's difficult for a mother to diet - so don't go on any crash diets - just reduce the quantity of oil in cooking and ue only olive oil.

If you can get hold of Baba Ramdev's CDs - they're not expensive and they're instructional CDs wiich teach yoga and pranayama techniques that guarantee weight loss and a more toned up body...

You can check out the following links for further assistance on the same:

Swami Ramdev says that it is your birth-right to stay disease free, healthy, slim, fit, look beautiful & younger, in complete peace of mind and get back robust health, better than your age. Do not lose hope, do not suffer and stop depending on expensive treatments, when Indian Pranayama Yoga is there to help you out. It is amazing, but it is true that this is the cheapest and the only permanent cure to most of the so called incurable diseases like Diabetes, asthma, obesity.

Just start doing it first, let the doctors tell you the results. There is no harm in doing small breathing exercises, as Pranayama Yoga has no side effects.

Doubt you lost weight because of the green tea. Olive oil is a fat that MAY be healthier than certain other fats, but it has as many calories as any other fat.

Sound like you are doing great with exercise, but to loose weight most people must cut back substantially on what they eat. I recommend measuring what you eat and journaling it. This can give you the tools to really help you control your eating behavior. You must measure and journal everything you eat. You must be very careful about sneaky calories, like taste tests and thoughtless snacking.

If you want to keep slim eating nuts, vegetables, olive oil and all things anti-oxidant seems to work for me. Also, I find lots of walking up hill really does the trick for keeping slim. Basically eat healthy, exercise daily and then I don’t really worry about the scale, things take care of themselves. Olive oil is a fat but is considered a "good fat" and therefore much preferred to eating other fats. Your body needs fats so eating the good fats is really good for your heart.

Olive oil is certainly healthy but it will not reduce your weight. Neither will green tea significantly reduce it. Exercise exercise exercise! And eat less.

We spend a certain amount of calories to "live".
We consume certain amount of calories to replace used calories.
Unused calories are stored - as fat.

As we age, the amount we use to "live" or "basal metabolic rate" (included a link to a calculator) is reduced.

If we do not increase our calorie usage, and/or decrease the calories we consume as replacement, we get fat.

We have two ways to eliminate fat. Decrease calorie intake, and increase calorie usage.

That is, eat less calories and increase physical activity.

There are no magic pills, teas, oils or similar. Although you can impact your basal metabolic rate a little bit with various foods - on the long term they might be more harmful than beneficial.
