Although technology is rarely retired, VHS may be the exception. Players and new titles are becoming VERY HARD to find. I would expect BLANK tape to be available for years, but prices will rise and availability will suffer.

DVD has become the way to deliver video. Cheap manufacturing costs in mass production, easy to transport, easy to maintain, longer life media, etc.

i kinda like them.well i got several and iam holding on to them.who knows,they might be worth money someday.
