How many shoots does it take to make you tipsy?

It depends on the person and the type of shots and how fast and close together you drink them. On average I would say 2 or 3 shots would make a person tipsy

depends on many things.
Your size, metabolism, body fat to muscle ratio, tolerance, type of drink, alcohol content, quality and quantity and time frame, weather or not you are drinking on an empty stomach or a full one.
For me it is about 5 shots of just about anything. 3 for Tequila.
but then I am a small woman with very little body fat and a high metabolism. I do have a decent tolerance though.

That depends entirely on two things:

1) How much you weigh.

2) How frequently you drink.

The more you weigh, the more shots it will take. The more regularly you drink, the higher your tolerance, and therefore the more shots it will take.

If you are tiny and never drink, keep it at around 3 shots. (or one per hour with LOTS of water in-between).

When I was drinking, I'd go through a fifth and a half to two fifths a day and some days more. I had a problem.
