Buying a pet is never about color, or looks for that matter. You want to buy personality. The dog can be the most beautiful one in the world, but if it doesn't suit your personality you will end up not liking it. So, go visit the puppies, talk to the breeder/shelter care givers. Have them tell you all about the dogs, play with them and choose that way.

what color furnature/carpets do you have? they will shed. a lot. so if you have beige carpets, there will be big black blobs (we have 2 black dogs)
but on the other hand, if you have darker colors in the house, the lighter colored dog hair will show up more - i went to my fathers house, he has a light blonde dog, its now all over the black interier of my car and all over my black jacket and it doesnt seem to go away!!
if you dont care about shedding (i really dont care, i shed too :) ) then i would go with brown or tan for "chex" as a name. i knew someone with a black one who named him "bear" cause he looked like a big ol' bear

Well for the name Chex i think a tan one would be OK. I agree, though, that whatever one you can find at a shelter would be best (If you are getting one at a shelter)

Hi there, color isn't really important to me personally. What really matters to me is personality. Make sure you get a dog with a great personality, then go for color. I'd go for a more neutral color, just in case they shed. Have fun with your new dog!

does he choose a bath? If not, it may nicely be from the solar. a useless ringer for human beings tan and sunburn, the solar can influence the colour of the canines's coat. Does he have colour interior the backyard? If not, you need to furnish him an section to get out of the nice and cozy temperature interior the exterior, fantastically for this kind of thick lined canines.
