Do you remain silent, not speaking up for yourself, when feeling discounted or unseen by others?
Do you ignore your own feelings and needs in deference to others?
Do you go along with what others want, even if you really want something else?
Do you accept blame for things that you know are not really your responsibility?
Do you put aside your own opinions and accept the opinions of others to be accepted?
Do you accept disrespectful behavior from others, finding ways to excuse the behavior?
Do you pretend everything is okay when you are really feeling lonely or sad?
Anytime you tolerate uncaring or disrespectful behavior in others to avoid conflict, you are training others to see you as invisible, to not care about your feelings and needs This is because you're insecure and lack a sense of self-esteem. Your boyfriend probably chose you because he knew he could control and belittle you, and you wouldn't be strong enough or mature enough to walk away.

Any one who will allow the other to take the blame when they know its not the fault of the other is a Coward and a bully--a self righteous evil one---But you sound like a peacemaker--did you grow up in a home where if someone took the blame for a wrong doing then things would smooth out?? Then that's the way you were raised---it doesn't make it right and you need to make a stand--the next time he is wrong tell him (nicely) and say OK this ones on you I am done always being the peacemaker here--we all make mistakes and buddy you just did--so be a man and say so--Whats good for the goose is good for the gander--

If he is a momma's boy, probably not. If he is doing things that causes fights with you, and he is acting out when he is at home there may be some other issues going on. If you want to extend an olive branch to the mother, then just tell her how you feel either through e-mail or in person (which is better).

First of all, quit taking the blame for everything. He is not much of a man if he can't say I'm sorry for when he is wrong. Sound to me like this guy thinks he is right all the time. Make him take responsibility for his mistakes and wrongs, don't belittle yourself to him by taking the blame for everything all the time, this makes you look weak, or that you can't stand up for yourself. Be assertive, be true to yourself. Sounds like he is the one with the problem.

real love means never having to say you are sorry. he should be supportive and understanding. He surely is not prefect. If he is always blaming you for things then maybe you should reassess your relationship. you are not his doormat or fall guy. he needs to start taking responsibility for things he does. Don't be so quick to take the blame. stand up and be a woman. Respect yourself.

I guess your scared to piss him off or lose him. If you have to take the blame for everything and your afraid of losing him then you dont have a good relationship. If you let guys walk on you this way, they will and wont respect you for it in the end. I say if he wants to walk out the door, he can be my guest.

I always do this too.. but he acts like he never does anything. Yea you should really start making him say it if he truly cares he will admit thats hes sorry and appreciate your feelings. He doesnt want to you mad at him so he should say it first!! NEVER DO THINGS YOU'LL BE SORRY FOR LATER!!!

Are you doing it because you're afraid of losing him? Maybe you just want to end the argument and you think the easiest way to do it is to say you're sorry.
