I hate being a virgin, it's boring and frustrating not to mention unnatural, but of course I am getting on a bit now. If you are young you should stay a virgin for a while. One benefit, no diseases.

1. not getting pregnant
2. not contracting any STD's....AIDS included.
3. self-value and self-worth
4. not being seen as/or called a slut

Yes ther are a MILLION reasons why you should stay a virgin, especially if you are young. I didnt have sex until i was 21 yrs. old, and the only reason i did is was because i thought that's what i wanted, everyone said it's SOOO amazing. But then it happend and that guy has been long gone. I could have waited for someone who really loves me and cares about me. Please wait....maybe not until your married but at least until your out of high school and in a loving meaningful relationship that it worth it.

You mean STAYING a virgin. You should be asking what benefits women get from giving that up.

Being a Virgin is awesome. Your not a whore or easy. You have standards, and many people don't have that anymore. They screw anything. Don't settle for less, and wait for true love to give it up, not some random guy in a bar =] You will thank yourself deeply at the end.

When you get married your partner won't be worried about you comparing his (her) performance with anybody else's. They will also be touched by your deciding to wait.

You also avoid ANY chance of STDs, pregnancy or parental censure! That's a huge benefit right there. Even the best forms of birth control have a chance of failure - why risk it when you're not ready to have a baby?

If you aren't ready to have sex, don't force yourself to - and don't let anybody pressure you into it.

well you don't have to worry about STDs, about getting pregnant, and all the other heartache of being sexually active.
pls if you are a virgin and would like to stay that way to avoid all the complications of life then DON'T DO IT. wait till you are REALLY ready b/c once you experience it you may want to do it all the time and sometimes that will get you in trouble.

The obvious benefits are never having to ask the "am I pregnant" question and never having to worry about STDs. In addition, I think sex complicates things sometimes, and you can really get to know a person when you obstain. I think it can also empower you.
