The only way to make yourself taller would be to wear high heels. You can't actually make yourself grow taller. Believe me, if that were possible, I would have done it long ago. I am only 5 ft tall and I'm a grown woman. I would love to be a few inches taller, but I just didn't get those height genes. At 16, you aren't finished growing yet. Give yourself more time. But don't stress over things that you can't control. Life is too short for that. Good luck and take care.

Why would you want to? Some of the most beautiful women in the world are 5' or less. Like my wife of 15 yrs.
Oh yeah, don't forget, there are more than a few of us men who aren't exactly NBA suitable heights.
Other than runway models, pro beach volleyball players, and a few (very few) others, most women are not much taller than 5', which is pretty close to the average.
Genetics dictates your height, so if you feel short, go blame some ancestor or something
HINT: Don't blame parents/grandparents just before Christmas

By staying fit you will create an appearance that will make you seem taller. Also, dress to suit your figure. Never wear flared jeans, bootcuts are also pretty sneaky. Wear shoes with some height, and stay away from round or boxy toed shoes. Make sure your clothes fit properly, and aren't too loose or long, also stay away from patterns, especially large patterns, they will just dwarf you! Dressing in a solid color, or similar colors from top to bottom will make a visually longer line. Don't feel too bad. I'm 5'9", and I'd love to be a little shorter. Some of my girl friends make me feel like a giant standing next to them, but, the grass is always greener, right? Embrace who you are, dynamite comes in small packages.

at 16, a girl is still growing. drink LOTS AND LOTS of fat free milk. trust me, it REALLY helped for me when I was growing up. Eat fruits and vegetables every day and stay away from fatty or processed foods. the best way to dress is to wear skinny jeans and high heels or wear a knee-length or shorter skirt with heels. when wearing heels, wear the kind that have a pointed toe. The pointed toe isn't uncomfortable at all and it REALLY helps to elongate the legs.

You can go through years of painful surgery to lengthen the bones in your legs, but you will probably have to go to singapore to do so, since no doctor in his right mind would operate on a normal girl like yourself.

So, you're short. I'm short. Millions of people are short. I'd say you'll have to give up your hopes of a modelling career, but that isn't true. I'm 5'3" and did modelling in my early 20's.

Learn to love yourself the way you are.

My youngest sister is only 4'11". She stopped growing when she was 12 years old. All I can suggest to you is to do what she's learned to do. She wears heels alot, but mostly, she lets her personality show more and isnt afraid to show she has a sense of humor. Because of her doing that, people dont realize right away that she is so little.

Have your friends tie a rope around your feet, and your hands. Then have them hook each of the ropes to their cars, and drive like hell in opposite directions! That ought to do it!

you can't physically get taller, but you can look taller with what you wear. if you wear long style jeans in a thinner fit, it will make your legs look longer, therefore making you look longer. However you can't wear big clunky shoes. also don't wear horizontal stripes unless it's a longer shirt.
