would you rather go to Starbucks or another (possibly better) Coffee Shop, say, Moxie Java.
What's your take on Starbucks?
In my opinion, i like starbucks but there coffee has a bitter taste.

Starbucks is very convenient, but when possible the non-corporate coffee shops are more personal, better service, less crowded and staff is more permanent. But when it comes to consistency, Starbucks really can't be beat, go to any city around the world and it's basically the same thing if you have a particular taste in mind.
Yes, I agree the coffee at Starbucks is kinda bitter, but nevertheless it does the job.

I like Starbucks' coffehouse drinks, like the Frappucino and others, but I am not a fan of their regular coffee.
Ever tried Tully's? I have a reversed opinion about their drinks as I really enjoy their plain coffee, but would rather walk across the street for a Frappucino.

Starbucks has done really well as a chain coffee shop, but sometimes you really can't replace a small, hole in the wall coffee shop.

Rusrus is right. Starbucks is some of the nastiest tasting paint thinner I've ever had.

Tim Horton's from Canada, which now has franchises in the States is really good. People in Canada, line up for Tim hortons coffee, like they line up for Mcdonalds or Burger King here in the USA

Coffee and coffee houses are a matter of personal taste. What you may like I may not and visa versa. Personal preference and personal tastes abound.

i like starbucks but you just cant beat the feel of small cafes. id take the cafes over starbucks any day, even if they are out of my way.

Overrated , expensive, boring , nerd hangout, get yourself a nice coffee pot some good Kona coffee and have a friend over.

In my opinion coffee is coffee, no matter where you buy it from. Starbucks charges outrageous prices! I just buy my coffee from Wal-Mart, and do it myself! It tastes just as good, and it is WAAAAAYYYYYY cheaper!!!
