My recommendation is to avoid anything that doesn't end in a .gov. You may want to check out sites like: http://travel.state.gov or http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis. Anything that doesn't end in .gov is not an official website of the US government and could have incorrect or misleading information.

Otherwise, check with an immigration lawyer for any rules.
