How to translate english phrase "source with no water" onto Latin?
- origo siccus? ortus siccus? origo assus?

dont know about what sort of source you mean, but without water is 'sine aqua' with the last a having a little horizontal line ontop.

I would say either fons arida or fons sicca
Sometimes it's necessary to translate the meaning instead of word by word (mainly for translations into Latin,a language with not too updated terms).

I'd say "fons inaquosa" or "fons sicca". "Origo" is an abstract "source". BTW, isn't "origo" feminine, too? My hunch tells me it is.
