Why not? I am sure that they aren't asking you to be Mommy so what's the problem? I am a single mom and wouldn't even dream of bringing my daughter around anyone that I dated unless it was serious and I would never ever want the person that I am dating to feel obligated to assume some sort of parental role over my daughter because of the fact that she has me and she does have her dad still too...The only thing that they have to do is accept the fact that she is a part of my life and that she will always be number one and if that is an issue for them, then they aren't worth the time nor the effort of pursuing anyway. If it is an issue for you though or you don't like kids, then I would definitely recommend you not doing so...but if not, you can give it a shot and see where it goes...Good luck and take care:)

I am a guy, so, no, I wouldn't date a guy with kids... now a woman, i would consider it, it depends on the age's of all involved (i'm 26), and also how things go with the kid... if she's shoving the kid in my face on the first date, then that would be the last date, but i would consider starting something, and getting to know the woman better...

In this day and age a lot of people have kids. Ask yourself this first, Can you deal with him having kids? Can you deal with having kids around? Can you deal with sharing your time with his kids when he has his kids? If you can then by all means date him, if you can't then do yourself, him and the kids a favor and do not get involved. Good Luck to you..

probably not cuz i'm only 18. I guess it depends on how old you are, if you have kids, how much you liek this guy, how much you like children, how involved you will be in his children (and his) life....etc

Obviously he has his kids as a priority and they take a lot of his attention. if you can handle that, go ahead. Otherwise i say find someone who is more at the same stage in life as you are.

well it depends on how YOU feel about it. Our opinions on this one dont' matter, while they may help guide you. I date a man with 2 kids and a crazy ex wife. But I also have 1 child myself. It really just depends on where each of you are in life

Nope. Relationships are hard enough without adding in someone else's kids and the mother. I wouldn't be able to deal with it. Then down the line if you marry this guy part of his paycheck will forever be going to another family. Its hard enough to make it these days paying for one family.

You did not mention the situation of the children’s mother. I would imagine that your choice depends on the nature of his family situation. My cousin, a woman, married a man who had a little girl. His wife, the girl's mother, had died suddenly of a brain aneurysm a year before. He and my cousin have now been happily married for years and have four beautiful children. I suggest that it totally depends on the situation and your maturity level.

I think if you did get into a serious relationship with a guy with kids it would be a difficult one. But it might be worth it.

Yes. Most guys only have them every other weekend anyway.
If the kids are with him all the time, that is cool too. I like children--whether or not they are mine they are cute!
