yes, but you must purchase a TV tuner card. Most tuner cards have RCA inputs to plug anything into them that uses RCA cables. Of course you must use the bundled software to view the DVD from the player, but it can be done.

I do not think so. Not uless your DVD player has a USB jack and can accept a a cable that connects your PC and player. There is also on the market a new device that attached to your PC and it receives TV broadcasts that then can be watched on your PC.

Why do you want to do that when your PC can play back a DVD

I don't think so, your pc would first require phono jacks and then the ability to play (graphics card etc..)
