Whatever day Jesus CHRIST was born is CHRISTmas day. We may not celebrate it on His actual birthdate but we are honoring God by honoring his Son.
The cruel words you say are just that...cruel. Your reasoning is absurd and might only work in a court of law. You will have some explaining to do to God.

<> It had to do with the Christianization of Rome. Rome celebrated the birth of the Sun God on December 25th. Therefore, the Church decided to celebrate the Birth of the Son of God on the same day that Roman Pagans celebrated the birth of their Sun God. Sun God, Son of God. . . see a theme here? < records like that.>> Oh no - Rome kept excellent records! You have to remember that Jesus' took place below the Roman Empire's "radar". That's why Jesus' birth wasn't a matter of Roman Record. <> That's irrelevant because both the Julian and Gregorian calendars have a 'December 25th". <> Again - the Christianization of a pagan holiday.

Jesus wasn't born on Christmas Day. Religious scholars say he was actually born in the springtime, most likely around April/May. Some people need to do their research.

And no I don't think its blasphemous, but I DO think it is not helping your cause, whatever it may be. Kinda rude actually.

Congrats on showing off the fact that Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25th, but damning him isn't really helping your cause.

why would you say that?
People that worship Jesus believe that he was born on Dec. 25, so yes, it would be blasphmous. Grow up!

Does it really matter about the day? As long as you celebrate Jesus's birth for the joy and peace Jesus brought.

Jesus flat out said that you could blaspheme him, but be weary of blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
