my sister had them and when we went to the doctor it was from cold weather and dry skin. try putting some lotion on it.

Needs to be checked by the doctor, there are way too many things that present that way, from allergies to a mild case of chicken pox to microscopic parasites! Benadryl might help, but she needs to see the doctor.

Does she have a fever or seem to have a sore throat? She could have Strep Throat. Take her to a doctor as soon as possible.

If she's young she might have molluscum. It's very contagious and very common in young children. Talk with her doctor.

When my kids have it it is a sign of strep throat. I don't know why, but it is, at least for my kids.

dry skin? does she use lotion after getting out of the bath? if they are red it might be a rash... so dont use lotion that has perfume in it...
