In a few thousand years from now if we still exist will religious people tell tales of are current time and weave it as acts of god??

In a 1000 years Religion will cease to exist as religion only exists because of what science cannot prove.

Well, they will HAVE to, won't they. Every time science proves another silly bit of religion or the bible wrong, they create a new story to get around it. The book Misquoting Jesus proves this has already been done hundreds of times.

nothing's gonna change no matter how long mankind exists as long as there are people who are religious then the same battles are gonna take place with everybody having their own set of beliefs so not much will change we'll just be more technologically evolved so to speak

They will still tell the stories. Of things that were. And
the stories will still get distorted and turned into crap,
by fools!
Nothing new under the sun. Back then, or in the future.

They are currently evolving (what irony).
Christianity today is so fragmented and evolved beyond what it was 1000 years ago...

they'll probably pretend that they found some buried documents that has more history and in the future they'll claim that things happened in our era that didn't.
