My brother had to drink this weight gaining supplement called Peptamen and its to help him gain weight also. His nurtitionist says its ok for him to add strawberry or chocolate syrup to the milk.
So ask your daughters pediatrician about this, it makes it taste much better. It will go down easier!

Some do not like it so try something else. No sense forcing something on them they will hate for a lifetime if you force it now. check with a nutritionist to find things that they can really like and do the same thing or if it is not that bad, they will sometimes start eating more later as they get a bit older and make up for what they are not eating now. The bigger deal you make of it now and the more pressure you put on, the more they are going to put the brakes on and stop eating anything you want them to.

How old? Ice pops might be a good option too. Or taking the pediasure and freezing it in ice pop molds. If she is old enough to eat a popscicle that might be a good alternative. Everything looks better to kids frozen! :)

Have you ever tasted that stuff -its downright nasty I wouldnt drink it either. Try some nestle instant breakfast instead. They will like it better. Also try breakfast bars for snacks and high in calorie foods at meal times. and the Ensure is nasty too I know cause i was really sick and my Mom tried to make me drink that stuff thats when we tried the instant breakfast its lots better.

My grandson is the same way. Gaila has some good suggestions. Maybe try a little chocolate syrup in the "milk", don't let them see the cans or when you open one.

Then give up on the pediasure. Try some snack bars, or just work on eating veggies, cheese adn fruits for nutrients. even if you have to add dip (cheese sauce, caramel dip for apples, or dressing)
Also see if they will eat chewable vitamins - if not ther is a vita gum

Have you tried chocolate syrup or strawberry syrup in it? Or maybe making milkshakes with it.
