When I decide to begin a fast I will make a drink for myself and it helps me stay full for most of the day.
2 cups of water
1 cup of favorite juice (I use cranberry) or even tea like green tea((this is for flavor))
1 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch
combined water and cornstarch and heat on stove until liquid becomes thicker and clear stir in juice and allow to drink to cool to preferred temperature and drink.

Yes, apple cider vinegar is supposed to really work. But it needs to be taken in liquid form and it is quite strong. It is just like drinking whiskey. I tried it. It is also good for digestion problems.
A new alternate is Hoodia (African Cactus) sold in capsules. It is natural and not medication. I studied it and it is supposed to be safe and gentle. It curbs the appetitie. The Africans in the Congo take bites of this cactus to curb there appetite when they are hunting for days. They do not have time to eat on long hunts. They persue, kill, and carry their catch home over long miles and many days. This item was on Oprah. We have tried it and will start it again after the holidays.
Good Luck

Water doesnt make you eat more!! What is wrong with some people?
This one is nicked from a detox diet - but it works for me and its good for flushing out toxins.
(For one litre)
Heat in a pan, 500ml PURE Cranberry Juice (check the label - shouldnt have any sugar or additives!) 500ml water. 1tsp Cayanne pepper. 1tsp nutmeg. Add maple syrup to taste (optional).
Bring to the boil, decant and chill in the fridge.
Dont drink instead of water, but when you get that 'munchy' feeling. Works for me, and its very good for you.

Keep this meal between 400 and six hundred calories. Serve yourself a more compact portion, so if you like returning to college for seconds, you'll just turn out eating a normal-size portion.

One of the most common ones is lemon juice in water. The citric acid in the lemon juice causes your stomach to shrink a little temporarily but don't over do on this.

Add veggies to baked items. You'll never even taste this zucchini in these brownies or the sweet potato in most of these cookies.

Keep a small water glass, which you have to refill often, instead of a large water bottle on your workplace.
