Eating
Your daughter eats only when she is hungry that is good and how all of us should eat. "We eat to live not live to eat" Benjamin Franklin. If she does not have enough calcium, protein, vitamins, etc. then try giving her candy vitamins that I'm sure she'll love!
Band aids
I think you should show her pictures of infected wounds(jk).
Make her watch you every time you get a cut. You disinfect it, put Neosporin on it (which is good by the way) and you get band aid on.
She will see that that is healthy.
OR:
Get her fun looking band aids that she will love to wear!

Wearing band aids is for whom? You or your daughter? If she really does not want to wear one, why fight it? I have had many cuts that have even gotten infected but no band aids on them and I am still alive and well and they healed just fine. Sounds like it is more for mama than for your daughter.
Would you rather have your daughter be obese and learn habits that will make her that way or to be healthy? If the doctors are telling you she is healthy and fine, why are you wanting her to eat more? Teach her healthy habits now and she will take them with her through all her life and live a lot longer. Teach her to eat even when she is not hungry and you will be sure to have an obese teen and someone that has trouble her whole life with food and obesity. Kids will eat what they really need so stop trying to push an unhealthy lifestyle on her or YOU will be the one that will be wishing later that you had not done it and she will be the one that suffers the rest of her life with lots of problems because mama pushed her to learn to eat more than was needed. Back off and let her be. Let her eat when she is hungry and if she is not hungry at a meal, do not give in and get her something between but have her wait till the next meal time and she will eat more as she will be hungry. You are making way too much of it.

I have an eight year old girl who is very little for her age and always has been she doesnt eat much and it always worried me but her doctor said she was healthy and she is happy so Ive stopped worrying. And besides Im happy she only eats when shes hungry and stops when shes full. That just means she wont have to worry about obesity as an adult. As far as the band aid goes I would just get some antibiotic ointment and keep putting that on, it will do the same thing. They also sell stuff called new skin you could try that but it really stings.

Hi, its very simple! If possible try getting some small round cartoon stickers and stick on the band aid where there is no medicine. Children would love to look at the band aids and see their fav toon character. Dont scare her as it will make things more unmanageable for you. You can just cut out a cute little cartoon and hang it on to band aid.
Doctors say that you should never force kids to eat. They know their capacity intake and it would be wrong to overfeed them or stuff them when they resist to it. As you have said, if she is hungry she eats. As long as she is active, there is no reason to worry, isnt it? Have a good time with your daughter

Maybe you could try those extra sticky band aides so it will hurt a little if she rips it off. Or try new skin. It's like a band aide, but its a clear liquid that you brush over the cut and it puts a clear coding over the wound so it will heal. About eating, a lot of kids don't like to eat. The only advise I have for that is to make sure she doesn't eat a lot of junk food so she'll be hungry more often.

If the doctor's say she is healthy and fit, why make her eat more? If she needs to gain weight, then try having foods around you know she likes. But if she's healthy I wouldn't worry about it. Girls have enough issues with body image and food already, making a big production out of what she does or doesn't eat at this stage could come back to haunt her later.
As for band-aids, have you tried taking her to a store and letting her pick out a box. My daughter likes the disney princess ones!

I wouldnt worry about her not eating enough, if the dr. says shes healthy thats good. you dont want her to get overweight. My 5 year old son doesnt eat as much anymore either and he's skin and bones, but still very healthy. I dont understand the band aid thing, all kids love band aids, my kids want them on when they dont even have a boo boo. let her pick out what band aid she wants and see if that helps.

If the doctor says she's healthy then she doesn't need to eat more. I wouldn't fight over wearing a band-aid. Just keep her finger clean. You might try liquid band aids.

If the doctor is happy with her she doesn't need to eat more. Try getting special band aids just for her. Let her choose the ones she wants, its worth a try.

Try taking her to the store and letting her pick out her own band aids. They have SO many to choose from. And if the drs are saying she is healthy, I wouldn't worry about her not eating. When she's hungry she will eat, she won't let herself starve!
