I am grew up in a home of smokers until I was 20. Just wondered if the exposure during my early years would increase a chance of lung cancer later in life. I am 35 now.

Second hand smoke is worse for you than smoking.... I am a smoker and never smoked in my house or car......

I would suggest taking good care of you Lungs and any respiratory problems that you develop. Yes there is some secondary danger from the exposure, and even some deaths reported of people that never smoked, and were exposed to the smoking of others. The ones I know about were grown ups playing bridge, and the other players smoked. Would you consider any sports that involve deep breathing, like swimming to keep your lungs healthy and in good shape,or singing in a choir ? You could ask your physician what he/she would recomend. yes, the chances of lung cancer is very high. more so than the smokers themselves.

It might because of second hand smoking which you had from growing up with smokers.
