I have a 10 year old who gets spanked, granted it's rare, but it does happen. I could see a 11 or 12 year old child responding better to grounding or something else rather then spanking, but I will not put a age limit on spanking. Once they prove able to not act like a child, then we move on. Every child is different, you have to adjust to each.

I guess so sometimes. Im 12 year old and i still get spanked when i do something bad and my mom thinks i need it and not just a little slap either shell make me cry! I think i get in trouble to much but i know other kids that really are bad and they dont get in trouble at all so i dont think its to fair!
