Which drugs are you talking about? Most illegal drugs do not kill brain cells.

The most likely cause of dead brain cells is alcohol use. Recent research shows that they can be regenerated if alcohol use stops.

The most common science is brain cells don't grow back, but they're starting to find areas of the brain where they do. Whether the drugs are legal or illegal a dead brain cell is to be considered gone forever unless someone makes a breakthrough discovery. That said, if you stop wasting your brain, your brain can form new neural pathways and you can be smarter than you are while you're using, so it's worth quitting. WAY worth quitting. YOU WILL get more mental clarity after you quit. Might as well quit.

Once you have killed a brain cell it is gone forever, you cannot reverse this by stopping but you can stop the destruction of more brain cells. Then over time you can build new brain cells in other areas of the brain. If you are using and are trying to stop, good for you, hang in there it is all worth it in the end.

No sweetie, unfortunately, however, chin up, as we only reportedly use 10% of our brain cells as it is. Who knows? Maybe you'll just have less stress in your life after losing a few brain cells, you know, no brains no worries. That has to be a good thing......:)

No. Whether from legal or illegal drugs, radiation, physical shock, or any other means, once a brain cell dies, it cannot be replaced. That's why it's so important to guard your brain from any and all assaults. Once they're gone, they're GONE.
