Hi there---This is best diagnosed by a dermatologist, but dandruff is only a scalp condition whereas psoriasis is found almost any where on the body, but most commonly on the elbows, forearms and legs I believe, and is always reddish/pinkish under the flaky surface. It will also bleed when scratched or picked at. I would think if your flaking is only evident by white flakes on your clothing that really just seem to be coming from your head and you give a dandruff shampoo a fair trial,then if your problem clears up, most likely it was dandruff. If it doesn't ,then, get a medical opinion.It is always possible that it is not either,or you may need a prescription to provide something that is more effective and not available over the counter.

Dandruff is more white and powdery than Psorisis, which is more scabby, flakey and pinky - Dandruff will only occur on the scalp usually and cases of Psorisis will more often sprout out on different areas of the body (often on elbows and knees, or inbetween toes and places like that)
To be sure, go and see your dr who will be able to diagnose for you,

Well i have psorisis on my scalp and used to get alot off so called dandruff until my gp prescribed me with a cold tar like shampoo and cleared it all up in wks.If you have psorisis on the scalp you head would itch and you would feel small lumpy bits off skin,also sometimes that area would feel very hot and get a burning sensation too.The actuall dandruff is more flaky and bigger,and pinker then white.Go along to your gp he will check your scalp with a special ultra violot light to see weather you have this skin condition or not,or he may refer you,but i hyave been told in the past never to use 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner and this can make the scalp very itchy and flaky.Good Luck

Dandruff is white and flaky and psoriasis are yellow coloured scabs that when picked make your scalp bleed.

If you want to get rid of both these problems, drink Aloe Vera Drinking gel and use Aloe Vera soap.
Also avoid Aspartame.
