I pulled aside a flirting friend, and I told her that her flirting made me like her and I could see myself with her. I told her I wanted to remain friends though. After that, she kept asking what more I wanted, and I said that I only wanted friendship. She asked about three times though. She then apologized for asking so many times. Why did she keep asking and then apologize?

why did you tell her that you could see yourself with her and than tell her you just wanted friendship? You confused her probably....that would have confused me....she probably asked what more you wanted because you weren't clear with what you were telling her, and she wanted you to tell her you liked her.......she apologized because you didnt understand what she was getting at and she didn't want to put herself out there, so she just brushed it off by apologizing.

She asked you so many times because you were not giving her the answer she was hoping for. She has feelings for you and was hoping you felt the same way. She apologized because she felt stupid that you did not give the response she was looking for.

Maybe she really likes you alot too. Maybe you kinda short circuited her mind and she got hung up so to speak. Give it time and love and friendship maybe you'll gain the best gf you've ever had and hopefully a future wife too. Good luck.

She's confused of what you just said to her, you said you like her... what kind of like? as in only friends? Why bothered to say that to her? are you affected too much that she flrited w/ you? What do you mean that you could see yourself w/ her? what is that?... a craft? She just want to know your game! are you trying to do something to make her look like a fool? what is your purpose of saying that to her? It's obviously that she wants you, don't let her feel that you just want to trick her. I f you really want only friendship w/ her, dont play w/ her feelings by saying you like her... get real!!!

Because by saying what you did you conveyed you were interested in her, then you back peddled by saying you just want to be friends. Which is it? That is what she wants to know.
