Actually 'no' Angels do not have a 'gender'.
We are the ones that give them their gender as it fits with what we expect our how we expect our Angels to present themselves.
Archangel Michael for instance is perceived by many as 'male'.
Yet many 'feel' the feminine energy of Michael too, and he has been perceived by many as female.
In truth, God force energy is made up of 'both' polarities. Negative & Positive. All energy is made up of these too sources. These two sources when made 'one' is one source, a perfect blending of the balance of the yin or yang, or light & dark, or black & white being positive (male) and negative (female).
Yes it can be confusing, but it is not really that hard to realise we are the ones that have the imagination to create that which we our spirit, does recognise, as part of our Divinity....and also that we too, are a mixture of both of these polarities.
Most of us are a balance of both, some of us too may be more feminine than our same sex or masculine than our same sex. This is not to imply that they are 'gay', as many heterosexuals are not 'gay' just because they may lean more towards the opposing energy that they themselvse physically are not, however, yet many are.
We are a multidimentional beings, living many experiences through spiritual incarnations, absolutely we have 'enjoyed' being one thing or another at one time or another, in many dimentions. If we are to think that we are all 'now' in this moment that we will ever be, we stop growing spiritually, this is why we have Angels, that reveal messages from our Divine Source, that is our connection. We find this when we 'go within', the Angels male/female or otherwise, those that come in the 'light' have many 'truths' to share, more truth than the ones we find that has been and still is being shared today between humans, not the 'stuff of the Angels', whom, are messengers of God, or our Universal Creator if you like or prefer.
Blessings be yours in peace, light & laughter!

I was told that the Hebrew word "angel" (literally means "messenger") implies a male messenger, not a female.
Having said that, it appears that Jesus implied that angels have no specific gender when he said that in the afterlife, people are no longer considered to be married or divorced, since they are "like the angels". I assume that this means that angels cannot reproduce.

Several accounts of angels in the Bible and in the Tanakh portray angels as males.
Examples- "sons of God", "angel-princes", even "men"
I have only heard of one case in which a female angel named Camille, that had the power to seduce people with her beautiful voice, is mentioned in the Bible. (Sorry, not sure where or whether this tidbit is actually even true.)

The Bible shows male angels visiting humans.
I have heard that God had a plan for Adam and Eve to fulfill their role first before female angels could be made.

Everyone? I thought angels didn't have a face. Why would you think of gender?

Yes, they do have a gender: male. All Biblical descriptions of them tell us they appear male. Also, Genesis 6:1-4 tells us about fallen angels who fathered children with human women.
Peace.

The angels (sons of God) in Genesis 6:4 did not look for the sons of men, but the "daughters of men", with which to co-habit and produce nephilim offspring.

Why do you think they aren't? In the Bible, they are only given male names. What proof do you have to the contrary?
Personally, I believe they are not gender specific, but I doubt the writers of the Bible could understand that concept as they even had to assign a gender to their diety as well.

Angels have no gender they are neither male or female. They do not procreate or eat or drink. They are made of light and have a different purpose to human.
