Can anypne give me advice on applying them correctly. They are 12" wide with 5-6 wee comb (Lethal looking)things attached. Is it best to start at nape of neck and work up or in the middle and work down?

Merry Christmas!

I find it helps to have 2 mirrors so you can see the top and back of your head as you go along, your wall mirror and a hand held mirror. Def start at the nape and work your way up, and make sure you have all the tools you need at hand i.e. comb, clips, scissors etc... Good luck

Merry Christmas!

Well, this is how I put in extensions...I personally align the wefts to where it needs blending--around the crown first. Once it's perfectly blended in, I pin that hair up and do the area around the nape of the neck. If you did the top and the nape properly, the crown of the head is used to add volume, which you will need to use your discretion, to much looks fake, to little looks scarce.

Work from the nape of the neck, it makes it easier.
Leave an inch at least from the nape and sides of your hairline, this will help to hide the extensions if you put your hair up or your hair moves.

yes start from the nape and work your way to the top. make sure you have enough hair for the entire head! its better to have too much than not enough. you can always take back unused hair. or save it for another time. make sure your parts are as straight as you can get them ok i hope this helps. If you have the extention that has combs attached and you want a pony tail affect then you would place your hair in one bun, then you would attach the hair to your desired hight. it all depends how you want to wear your hair.

One women I met had them, and her daughter (a hairdresser) placed them in the back midway between crown and nape from ear to ear in a U shape You'll need help with this.
I've just started to experiment with hair pieces and soon I will be trying the extensions as well.

Start at the nape of the head and work up,and put them tight into the root of your hair stop them falling out, make sure you have enough and if you have to brush them use a natural brush,i was a hairdresser, which i was there to put them in lol

I really do think you should read the manual that came with the extensions. but if there is no manual, start at nape of neck and work down.

I think you should ask someone to help you apply them....go to a salon or a hairstylist.....they specialize in doing hair and i'm sure they would make you look great! Have fun at your Christmas party!

Go to the hairdresser it's safer, now now you make a mistake and then you will have to buy new hair extensions.!!!
