know its common , its as easy to as your abc and 123, I know many women who HATE their mother in law - I always said I wouldn't - always said I would be fair and nice because she brought up the man I love, but I can't help it - the hate has crept in I can't stand the woman and at times would gladly have her put down!!
even the smallest things she does incense me - like how she loves it if my fella has a hole in his work jeans, she tuts at me and makes him take them off so she can patch them????!! he has 50 pairs of jeans at home that he doesn't wear and could wear for work but she makes me feel like I am a bad woman for not sewing them for him!! I would if he wanted me to though!! she does plenty more than just that but you'd think I was mad if I started!!!!
so come on guys make me feel better and tell me ALL about your monster in law and what she does that pis*ses you off the most!!! The most cringeworthy answer gets the points - the one that makes me feel better off!!!

Ah yes, I too have a crazy mother in law. It just seems to be getting worse and worse. She waited to show her true self until after my husband and I were married and now she's like a completely different person.
She threw a fit when we couldn't celebrate her birthday on her actual birthday because we were going to my Grandma's 80th birthday party. She said this meant that we didn't love her... what?!!
She threw another fit last Christmas when we told her we couldn't be over to their house until the afternoon on Christmas day. She NEEDS us there Christmas morning because that's the prime-time of Christmas... again, what?!! So of course this too meant we didn't love her.
My husband and I have only been married for 3 months. She called the other night and said she wants a grandchild within a year and a half. Excuse me, but who orders grandchildren? I really, really want kids eventually but she just makes me not want them because I know how horrible she will be. Especially when she's telling me when I should have them... can I just be married for a little bit first please?! She actually told me the other day that the next time she's at our house she's poking holes in our condoms. And sadly, she is completely serious. And if she asks me one more time if she needs to be knitting some booties for Christmas I'm going to scream.
I have oh so many more stories but I am at work and I just realized that this has now put me in a bad mood thinking about it and I must get back to work. So good luck to you with your in-laws. I always have sympathy for anyone with a crazy mother-in-law!

I have a monster in law too and I know how you feel about the jeans and the husbands that suck up and give into mommy. My hubby is a landscaper and he will go to his moms wearing his ratiest clothes, he actually looks like he's poor and then I listen to his mom say you need new clothes I can't believe you wear them. He feeds into her and sure enough I hear let me sew them for you or let me do this and let me do that it is discusing. But it is never let me do something for you it is always him. Thats ok I don't like her at all and I will never be like her. She is so fate and selfish it is not funny. She makes hoidays so upseting for both of us she wants everything her way and doesn't even think of my family but with this one this was the battle I was going to fight and I got my way. Haaa Haaa. I don't want to be nasty I always thought it would be nice to have a mother in law that I was close with but this one it is not happening. Do you ever sit there and listen to your mother in law and your husband talk on the phone?? I can't stand to listen to her talk to him she is always starting with something. I am so fed up. Email me and we can compare and contrast our moster in laws.

You should countyour self lucky i have two of them my old lady has got aq step mum who she is close to and a mum so as i said count your self lucky
