I am becoming more and more interested in Buddhism, but I am not going to make a dramatic announcement that "now I am a Buddhist". If I am meant to become a Buddhist, it will happen gradually over time. I am patient. Sudden conversions are shallow.

I admire all religions, because the ability for those to believe something that has no definitive proof is pretty cool in my book. (as long as they don't try and shove it in my face in the form of preaching down my high street etc).

I admire the pagan and wiccan beleifs. THay all seem to be really great people and i've not seen one of them judge or be prejudice against any other religion or beleife yet.
But I really don't know enough about it to be able to comment further. (silly really as my sister is a high preistess)

I get along with the ones who don't try to recruit me by knocking on my door, accosting me on the street, or worse- invading my schools. A lot of them fit that category.
I find a few mildly interesting, but I don't really admire them.

All religions have their good points, but because the case is usually all-or-nothing you get the bad points too.
As for a specific religion, I like most of what I've seen of Hinduism.

Buddhism is interesting.
It's a surprise to see a relatively successful religion that doesn't sneak in self contradictory excuses for hatefulness or unprovoked violence against people.

I rather like modern Paganism and Wicca, though I do not particularly believe in them. The Wiccans and Pagans tend to be creative, nature-oriented people who enjoy having a good time and don't feel guilty about it. They tend to be high-spirited and positive, as opposed to judgemental and fearful.

Certainly. The Buddhists follow a beautiful religion. So do the Wicca and the Pagans. The only ones that truly offend me are the Monotheistic ones that preach "Our way or hell" and spread fear, intolerance, and hate. ie. Islam and Xianity.

Buddhism and Jainism would be the two which encourage peace and acceptance rather than most religions which encourage discrimination and hatred.
