Hahaha, I had the exact same problem! My BF and I just started dating Saturday, December 16 and Christmas is soo close. Well What i did is found out what his favirate band was and bought him a hat with the band name and logo on it. But my BF LOVES music so... in a way it was easy. Does your bf have something that he just loves? You can get something that has to do with that. Maybe a favirate movie or band or even clothes, ask himwhat he likes and then fnd something tht fits him. Also what is nice is to get him something that hecan remember you by so whenever he sees it, he sees you.

I would keep the present something light, yet personal. Don't spend too much money on it either. It's too early in the relationship to be buying a bunch of presents for Christmas or getting too personal or sappy with the kind of present you buy.
My suggestion would be to look into a CD, DVD, or game system game that he has mentioned that he wants.
You could also look into making him a mix CD of songs from bands, groups, and/or singers you know he likes.

I would not go big, it has only been a couple of weeks, how about a night out on you, like you would pick up the tab for dinner and a movie. You could make the card on the computer or hand make it and then put in the card a 'coupon' for a dinner on you, or for dinner at your place. Or a picture frame with your (or one with both of you) picture in it.

A christmas card and maybe a small gift to symbolize your first date. Don't spend to much, you will look desparate or like you are trying to buy his affections.

since you probably don't know him that well and are probably not that close yet (it's only been a week), just get him a gift card or something to his favorite store or restaurant.
That makes for less pressure for both of you.
Is he getting you something? If not, then forget it.

Get him some nice chocolate or food from somewhere. It doesnt have to be expensive just something that is thoughtful and he can enjoy.
